Pastor Adeboye Responds to Critics [NEWS]

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has declared that no amount of verbal abuse or criticism can provoke him to anger or distract him from his divine calling.

Speaking during the July edition of the RCCG Holy Ghost Service at Redemption City in Mowe, Ogun State, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the importance of self-control, describing anger as a dangerous trap.

“Anger is temporary madness,” Adeboye said. “You don’t want to be mad. Some people will do things to provoke you, but don’t fall into their trap. One of the easiest ways to destroy your destiny is through anger.”

The revered cleric disclosed that he has often been the subject of public criticism, with many waiting for him to react. However, he remains unmoved and committed to fulfilling his purpose.

“A lot of people have been saying whatever they like about me. They are waiting for me to get angry one day, but I won’t. I’m going to reach my goal,” Adeboye said.

In the same sermon, he shared a notable experience involving a head of state from an African country. According to Adeboye, the leader was suffering from a health issue that doctors couldn’t resolve and decided to reach out to him for divine healing.

Although flattered, Adeboye turned down the request due to his busy schedule, directing the local pastor to inform the president.

“I remember a head of state somewhere in Africa who had a problem that no doctor could handle. He heard that there is a man of God who could heal him, so he sent for me,” Adeboye recalled.
