As Nigeria gears up for the 2027 general elections, respected clergyman and founder of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has issued a powerful message to his congregation and Nigerians at large.

Speaking during a recent church service, Bishop Oyedepo urged Christians and all citizens to approach the next election cycle with wisdom, discernment, and a strong sense of responsibility. He emphasized the importance of making informed choices rather than selling votes for short-term gains.

“Is the Money Still There?” Oyedepo Questions Vote-Sellers

“The money they gave you in the last election, I’m sure it’s still there.”

“Today you have a Muslim-Muslim ticket being propagated. Tomorrow, it’s Fulani-Fulani. Then, governors handing over to their own brothers. Because federal character has been destroyed,” he said.
