Lady Shares Aftermath of 3 a.m. EFCC Raid on Her Apartment [NEWS]

• She claimed the raid happened around 3 a.m. when officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission allegedly forced their way into her home without warning, leaving the place in chaos.

A Nigerian lady has gone viral after sharing a video online showing the wreckage allegedly left behind by EFCC operatives who stormed her apartment in the middle of the night.

She claimed the raid happened around 3 a.m. when officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission allegedly forced their way into her home without warning, leaving the place in chaos.

According to her, they also slapped her and took away her siblings along with her male neighbors.

In other news….. A Nigerian lady who left her ₦500,000 monthly job and comfortable life in Nigeria to study in the UK has shared her struggles, saying she may return home.

In a TikTok video, she revealed that social media influenced her move, but since arriving, she has only received referrals for care jobs she isn’t suited for.

Despite applying for over 100 non-care roles, she remains unemployed, her savings are running out, and she’s now considering going back to Nigeria.

“I left my good-paying job in Nigeria to migrate to the UK on a study visa. I was earning ₦500k monthly. I had my own place, no stress, no debt. I wasn’t even rich, but I was comfortable. I could afford little luxury, take care of my family life was stable.”

“I came here thinking things would fall into place quickly, the way people post on Instagram like they’ve gotten new jobs in weeks, that they’re living soft lives and so many things. It’s what I thought.”

“Since I landed, it’s been one referral after another. All of them have been care jobs. That’s the only thing people send me: care work, support workers, domiciliary care every single link is about personal care. And honestly, I can’t do it.”

“It’s not even about pride. I just know I’ll break down mentally and emotionally. I wasn’t built for that kind of work. I didn’t come here to lose myself.”

“I’ve applied for over 100 jobs in other sectors, which includes admin, customer service, retail everything I can do that doesn’t involve care still nothing. Some don’t respond, others say I don’t have UK experience.”

“I’m really drained. My savings are almost gone. They say everything is fine, but it’s not. I cry silently like almost every night.”

“Now I’m seriously thinking of going back home. I know people will talk about it. I just want to go back home to Nigeria. But at a point, I’m kind of scared. I don’t know if it’s the right decision.”
